The week before my wife and I were married, back in 1995, I went to a record store and picked up a few CD’s of musical accompaniments, took them to my friend Dick Wilkinson’s (RIP, Dick) studio and recorded a few, made a CD and presented them to my wife on our wedding day, Here they are.
You Needed Me
Where or When
They Can’t Take That Away From Me
Younger Than Springtime
Someone to Watch Over Me
Somebody Loves Me
Come Rain or Come Shine
I’ve Got a Crush on You
It Had to be You
I’ll Be Seeing You
If I Loved You
I Only Have Eyes for You
For All We Know
Even Though We Ain’t Got Money
Can’t Help Myself, I Fall in Love With You
As Time Goes By
Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground
This is one of the exceptions. I wrote and recorded this in 1969 as a jingle for Oklahoma City Federal Savings and Loan. It was the first time anyone had heard the phrase that came to me while I was in the army in the mid-fifties. It went across the world like lightning.
Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life
The second exception: I wrote this for my son, well over fifty years ago.
Angels, Watch Over my Little Boy
